The restaurant is located in the center of Venice, less than five minutes from both the Rialto bridge and Piazza San Marco. An ideal destination for a break in the heart of the city, it is located near the Ponte dei bareteri, which divides in half one of the most exclusive streets of Venice: the road of haberdashery Mercerie di San Salvador.
The restaurant has not only two large internal rooms but also some external seatings, that are cool and comfortable from early spring to late autumn; in our restaurant you can enjoy a lunch or dinner based on typical Venetian, Italian and international dishes.

1 - Its exclusive view
The restaurant offers an exclusive view of the ancient Casino Venier and the canal overlooking it. Visitors today can see one of the characteristic gondoliers' stations right next to the building, from which some of the best gondola tours depart through the heart of the city.
Customers during their lunches or dinners will be able to watch the gondolas glide gently on the waters of this canal. It will not be uncommon to hear an aria from some famous opera or a traditional folk song played, perhaps performed by a musician on board a parade gondola.

The history of our restaurant
Opened in the 1930s, just before the Second World War, despite the difficulties it continued to serve hot meals to Venetians for most of the war years.
With the arrival of well-being and the return of tourists to Venice after the war, starting from the 1950s the restaurant returned to offering its services to the many travelers who move around the city every day.
